This spectrum database is intended to provide useful information for the spectroscopy community.  When choosing suitable solvents for spectroscopic studies, information on their absorption bands and extinction coefficients is crucial. Most linear IR spectra found in the literature or online resources, however, do not include important experimental parameters such as sample path length and concentration. Here experimental FTIR spectra and parameters are gathered in one place to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among researchers worldwide.
