AirUCI Institute has been offering an accredited two-week summer training program for science school teachers since 2005, funded by the National Science Foundation. The program consists of lectures by the AirUCI faculty members in the mornings followed by laboratory or computer work in the afternoons. The lab work primarily focuses on environmental problems. The program features a $1000 stipend, free lunches, and free UCI parking. It is equivalent to six quarter credit units administered through the UCI Extension.
