The 22nd Informal Symposium on Kinetics and Photochemical Processes in the Atmosphere will take place at the University of California at Irvine (UCI) on February 14, 2005 in the Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering.  The main goal of the conference is to share scientific knowledge and foster collaborations between Southern California research communities. Typically, the conference gathers 100-150 participants each year, and it is hosted by one of the Southern California major campuses. The conference always attracts attendants from a broad spectrum of research areas including Atmospheric Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Physics, Engineering, Earth System Sciences, Energy Sciences, Environmental Toxicology, etc.. To bring in the largest possible number of students, the conference features free registration, free food, several invited talks by established scientists, and a large poster session. Invited speakers are the leading scientists in various areas of atmospheric research (this year's invited speakers are Barbara Finlayson-Pitts, David Coker, Scott Samuelsen, and Veronica Vaida). The conference organizers are Donald Dabdub from the UCI Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Sergey Nizkorodov from the UCI Department of Chemistry.

Registration deadline was February 7, 2005.
The final program, dinner tickets, etc. will be printed on Friday, Feb. 11. Late registration will be difficult after that.
