Invited Speakers: The Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering is fully equipped with presentation equipment. If you are an invited speaker, please do not forget to bring your notebook, USB-drive, CD or overheads with your talk! We recommend that you bring a backup (e.g., have your talk both on a notebook computer and a copy of the talk on a USB-drive). You will be given a time slot of 30 minutes each, including 2-5 minutes for questions.

Poster presenters: IMPORTANT Every poster presenter must bring with him/her 1 or 2 overheads and be ready to introduce the poster. You are welcome to use PowerPoint slides instead of overheads but you should e-mail them to us before 10 am on Sunday, February 14. Please include the poster title, poster number and authors in your presentation. The maximal time slot per poster is 60 seconds. For those of you who only stay for a fraction of the day, make sure that your poster presentation is not assigned a time slot when you are not going to be around.

Please note that most of our poster boards are 4'x4'. If you need a larger poster board, 4'x6' please let me know in advance! Pins and easels will be provided.

Attendees: Just come and enjoy yourselves. But do not eat too much! It is a scientifically proven fact1 that eating too much makes you drowsy. On the other hand, coffee is well known2 to increase your attention span. Plenty of food (both for thought and stomach) will be provided throughout the day.
